RHEIN IN FLAMMEN BONN
Sparks, colourful explosions against the dark night sky, shimmering lights on the gentle waves of the Rhine, all underlaid by the appropriate music and the ooohs and aaahs of the enchanted visitors. The big fireworks on 1 May in the Bonn park Rheinaue are the climax of the annual event Rhein in Flammen.
CHRISTOPHER STREET DAY COLOGNE
Celebrating oneself and one's way of life, meeting new people and achieving something together: The CSD street festival and parade are expression of an ever increasing self-assurance of thousands of gays and lesbians who come from all across Germany to celebrate this event in the cosmopolitan and tolerant city of Cologne. In addition to the political background, gay and lesbian culture and of course having fun are on the two-and-a-half day programme as well.

For more than three decades now, the Stadtfest Siegburg is a highlight in the event calendar of the Rhine-Sieg District. And not without reason: When in August the market square and the surrounding shopping streets become the background for the biggest festival in the region, the city attracts visitors of all ages, for no-one wants to miss anything of the attractive programme.
DÄ LÄNGSTE DESCH VUN KÖLLE
The name of this well-known street festival stemmed from the Cologne artist Trude Herr. The longest table in Cologne – this motto becomes the programme when thousands of visitors come to the Severin quarter in the Cologne South Town each year for fresh Kölsch (the local beer), delicious food and music.
KÖLNER MUSCHELFEST
Just the thing for all those who simply want more "sea": The Kölner Muschelfest at Rheinauhafen not only offers culinary specialties all around mussels and other seafood but also maritime shopping on the subject of sea & sun with a programme for the whole family.
